“ We came here in our way out of town from the nearby water park and it hit it out of the park. The kids were a little sad to be heading home and this was the perfect last thing to do together The dining room is very clean and open, not that large. You walk up and order counter style. The worker was very nice and chatted w my kids about the spice levels. We all decided on medium and that was the perfect choice. The options are pretty straight forward, which is nice. Tenders or tender sandwich. Either one, two, or one of each. And fries. They have nuggets too, which look like little versions of the tenders. We ordered a mix of meals, all medium spice. Food was ready pretty quickly. The chicken is AWESOME. The spice mix is very tasty. Lightly salty, a little sweet, and then your chosen spice level. Very juicy inside, very delicious. The fries were fine, nothing too exceptional. The slaw on the slider was nice, Id eat it as a side. Hopefully they expand because this could definitely become a favorite. Check it out if youre in Colorado Springs and are looking for a casual bite. ”
“ I went to Daves hot chicken tonight on my break, as Ive never had it before, and it definitely sits as one of my favorite chicken restaurants. The start of my experience was already pleasant, as when I walked in, the front counter employee was very welcoming and immediately assisted me by asking if it was my first time, and if I had any questions. I can definitely tell they train their staff well, as they all have such a positive attitude and are very professional in their jobs. After I ordered, I took a seat at the various tables in the restaurant. There was a fair amount of seating, I also admired the wall art while I waited. The food was ready in about 5 minutes, and the presentation on it was phenomenal. I ordered the 4 that just comes with a slider and a side of fries, which costed about 12, not terrible. What I specifically loved about the chicken was it actually had spice levels compared to raising canes and other chicken restaurants. I ordered the Mild spice, which was perfect because it had just the hint of spice I wanted while still having the balance of chicken I desired. The fries were crispy, and the Daves sauce was delicious. Honestly, everything here seemed to be pretty fresh, Ill definitely be coming back in the future. ”
